Happy Turkey Day!!

Mike was up early prepping the bird.
The kids are raking leaves (high today: 70').
I have unpacked six bags and gotten my closet in order.
The cat has been shaved (you do NOT want to know).
The Lions game is on at 12:30 and we plan to be eating by then.
And the traditional after-turkey naps have been scheduled.
Then tonight, we're going to the movies to see Enchanted.

It's going to be a great day.

For our family and friends,
For our pets and our lives,

Thanks for our jobs
That supply all our needs,
Like the home we just bought
And our two climbing trees.

Thanks for the Earth,
For the stars and the moon,
For the wind through the leaves,
And the sun at high noon.

But thanks most of all
For eternal life,
For sending Your Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ.
