Just another day in ... NJ
Yes, that post time is correct and I'm just getting back to the room. I was away from my computer all day today and I don't even want to know how many new emails I have. I didn't even have a chance to call home and say HI.
My little Zombified Punkymood is not changing any time soon.
I am having a pretty good time meeting people and learning new things about myself. I am *not* a people person. I'd rather poke my eyes out than make small talk with someone. Just cut to the chase and tell me what I need to know. But I just spent 4 hrs developing (and pitching!) a new TV show to a new network (from the people at Fine Living with a team of people I just met and then another 4 hours having dinner, cocktails and conversation with another group of people. Our table was the last to leave (when the waiter booted us), and then we adjourned for another 90 minutes in the game room. I was the first to leave for bed. They're all still out there.
The good news is that there's only one day left, and I've discovered that I already took the four hour class in the office that I'm scheduled to take tomorrow. That means I can sleep in, pack and do some work before heading to the airport! Yay!
Ha, you know that commercial where the woman steps forward in the entryway of her house to shake hands and says, "Hi, I'm Mom" ... that will be me tomorrow afternoon.
