The Church Council

After church (and the cute little Christmas play) today, we had a hot dog lunch and started planning the changes that will take place in our church over the next year. Mike and I have been there for 4 1/2 months or so, and we definitely want to move things along. We spent part of our vacation drive planning some studies, and I'm excited.

At the planning meeting, we discussed the direction of the church and roles and responsibilities of the officers, deacons and members. We never got to actually planning any activities but we did all agree that our goal is to learn to be better disciples. We still have a lot of work to do, but I think we are on the right track.
