I left my
heart in Saaaan Francisco.
Wow, what a city. I don't think I've seen a city more beautiful than this. The bay, the bridges (did you know there were two?), the architecture. It is amazing.
Cari and I went to Fisherman's Wharf and I got some amazing pictures of the bridges, Alcatraz and the sea lions as Pier 39. We drove through the streets and up some major hills. The city was very clean although you don't have to go far to see some run-down areas. Between the tall buildings with all the clouds, it seemed dark. Buildings are very close to one another though we did drive past a park and other greenery here and there. Our hotel is about 30 minutes from downtown, but traffic at 4 pm (toward the city) and back home at 9 pm was not bad at all. We might do some more driving tomorrow, visit Chinatown for dinner. I'd love to come back for a visit with the family. Will post pictures once I get back home.
