we're baaa-aaack

oh, what a trip! we had lots of fun in myrtle beach but i still haven't recovered. it was a relaxing vacation (not one of those where you run and play and shop and collapse when you come home) but i don't think i've adjusted back to the 'real world' yet.

the drive was looooong but fun. we DID have issues with our truck and i dropped it off at the dealership this evening to have the heating and a/c looked at. it kept getting stuck in the "on" position, unfortunately it was a/c when it was cold out and the heater when it was warm. what a mess. we had it checked out and fixed the week before we left but I guess it didn't stick.

work has been so busy. i only had 292 emails when i got back. i still have a lot of them left, even today. i'm the new project manager and suddenly i'm supposed to know everything. hmmm, not so much. Hey, I did get to take a look at my performance reviews and they are looking good.

did a little shopping at Hobby Lobby after i dropped off the truck. they didn't have a lot of sale items but I picked up a few sticker sheets on clearance. I got some great supplies on our trip last week too; now i just need to make time to scrapbook.

This weekend is Zak's taekwondo tournament in Terre Haute, but Aly and I are staying home. Maybe we'll have time to scrapbook Friday night. Saturday is a family get-together at Mom's. Jamie's birthday is tomorrow and mine was last week, plus Pam is graduating with her Master's degree from Ball State University. what a party!

time to get the kids ready for bed. mike is umping tonight and will be home any minute, sweaty and sore. that's my man!
