Zak got punched by a kid
Another sensational headline that is eerily similar to this post from nearly two years ago, only with some key changes.
I just returned from the vice-principal's office. She was extremely impressed at how Zak conducted himself while being attacked in the hallway. Emotions were running high due to an earlier incident (not Zak's doing) and there was shoving and punching. I'd bet he'll have a shiner tomorrow. And yes, I took pictures, but you can't see the bruise.
He'll be doing some community service on 12/20. I think the other boy will be suspended for 5 days.
Not something you want to happen at all, but I'm pleased with his actions, mostly. I think he's growing up.
