The NMFFAM Diet
I lost four pounds this week. I wasn't even really trying. I decided that spending $8 or $10 or even $16 for lunch at work every day was not a good idea. Mike got me various and assorted microwave meals, so I ate that all week for lunch. Plus I took fruit ... applesauce, strawberries, bananas. Oh, and a big McDonald's coffee for breakfast with an occasional sausage burrito. I wasn't hungry till I got home for dinner, and then I tried to stay away from bread.
I think the real key though, was that I stopped with the french fries and mayo. Like instead of ketchup, dip your french fries in mayo. I hear that is what they do in France, so I was just trying to be authentic, right. Apparently, it was making folks cringe, so they were happy to see I gave it up. So that is my No-More-French-Fries-And-Mayonnaise Diet.
Next week, I am in Florida for training. We're staying at the Swan & Dolphin Hotel in Orlando (yes, Walt Disney World), and they will feed us 5 times per day. I can't promise I won't eat a ton of food, but I will NOT touch a french fry.
