First Day of School, again
Zak is starting school at the Warrick Education Center, also known as "alternative school." Mr. Lacer, my junior high English teacher is the administrator and does a great job setting up each kid's curriculum. They make each individual responsible for their own work, and for the most part all work is completed on your own, while you are at school (for three hours either in the morning or afternoon). Zak picked the morning and I think it is really going to work out for him. He actually didn't have enough credits to be a junior, but he should be able to make some of those up over the course of the year. He still isn't sure if he wants to graduate or take the GED and try community college, but we've got some time to figure that out. I'm just glad we found a place he can be himself and actually enjoy school.
