Back to Scrap

Aly and I went to the Michael's crop at our local store last night. We spent a good part of the day Friday unpacking boxes and putting things in place in my scrap area. We nearly completed Nana's mini album, which we saw on DIY Scrapbooking. We used fibers instead of stickers for the binding and we think it looks great. We need to figure out what to do with the cover, and then add journaling and it is ready to mail.

Now that I have most of my supplies out and sorted, I'll probably be able to spend some time scrapping. That is good, since we are only up to K or L on the ABC album I was working on for LAST Christmas.

Speaking of boxes, I unloaded at least a dozen more today. The loft is together, we've gotten a start on Aly's room, and I have finally put away all of my clothes. I think I have about 100 pairs of socks. Two milk crates full and that does not include trouser socks and panty hose. Can you donate used socks? Maybe we can make puppets or use them for cleaning? What do YOU do with extra socks?

Mike got the office put together while I was at Nana's last week, so besides a few boxes downstairs, the last holdout is Aly's room and the scrap area. Now that I have easy access to scrapping supplies, I might not have time to unpack any more boxes. :)
