Inspections
Being the last day of the month, Mike took the van to get it inspected.
I remember growing up in Indiana, they used to have state vehicle inspections. They still have them in Virginia.
The RAV4 failed earlier this week because a headlight was out and a rear reflector was broken. Mike had to go to the Toyota dealer for replacements, but the inspection place put them on for free. Nice.
So I drove the RAV4 (and the van failed inspection too - $300 for new brakes) and dropped Zak at school on my way to work. As I cruised through the intersection near home I said
I guess driving a stick is like riding a bike.
To which he replied ...
People fall off bikes, Mom.
